Stirling Kimkeran · Head of Technical Services
Stirling co-founded Omnicom in 1995. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) with extensive experience in project management and the development of new and innovative technology systems for the Transportation (Road/Rail) Industry.
He is responsible for all Omnicom’s research and development activities including innovations to existing products and development of new systems. He manages external business partner programs and research activities with academic and professional institutions.
His expertise has been utilised by the European Union where he has served as an expert on Global Navigation Satellite Systems with a strong focus on railways.
Stirling’s hands-on approach to running the company provides the Omnicom board with vision and strategy into new areas of innovation and business opportunities.
Other roles and memberships Stirling enjoys include being Trustee and Secretary of St Columba’s Community Foundation in the City of York. The foundation supports five main charities and other voluntary groups by providing free office accommodation and facilities.
He is a member of the York Economic Partnership, a body set up to enhance the economic well being of the city.
Mark Mitcheson · Technical Strategy Manager
Mitch is a Software Development Project Manager with extensive experience of quality system development and implementation, system analysis and design and development.
Bryce Lane · Commercial Manager
Bryce is a Chemical Engineer who has been working in the UK transport sector for 15 years since arriving in the UK from New Zealand. He has been Omnicom’s Commercial Manager since 2013 and was previously Business Development Manager.
Bryce has considerable experience in finance, business analysis, programme management, engineering management and safety management with an enthusiasm for problem solving and technology innovation. With this range of experience Bryce brings a unique perspective and insight to Omnicom’s business operations.
Stephen Tait · Engineering Manager
Steve is the company’s Engineering Manager with direct line management responsibility for his team of 14 engineers.
He has experience in the delivery of a diverse array of systems and projects for both the railway and highway industries. These include the delivery of imaging and positioning based engineering systems, vehicle and foot based surveys for the railway and highway sectors.
